The maintenance management system of MZGOK in Konin ran on the API Pro software. Along with the development of the plant and growing requirements for technical supervision, the need arose to change the tool to a more modern one — capable of handling service tickets and technical rounds in a simple way, enabling mobile and offline work in the plant terrain, and preserving the multi-year history of completed work. An important requirement was also a concurrent verification and correction of the equipment and asset structure, so that only meaningful data — without duplicates and enriched with information from other sources — would enter the new system.
The waste thermal treatment facility in Konin serves 36 municipalities and processes 94 thousand tonnes of waste per year, supplying on average 120,000 GJ of heat to MPEC Konin and 47 GWh of electricity. The implementation was carried out in 2024 in the SaaS model, on a separate, dedicated infrastructure. The process covered the plant’s maintenance departments as well as external service companies handling the tickets.

The implementation was based on the AMAGE system launched in the SaaS model. It started with data migration from the API Pro system — export of raw data from the database server, their conversion, cleaning and enrichment. Together with the client’s employees, the structure of equipment and locations was verified, and the AMAGE import tools loaded into the system both the complete plant structure and historical entries of previously completed service work. Then the service tickets module with a full ticket life cycle was launched, along with the technical rounds module with offline work on mobile devices. The delivered industrial tablets and Bluetooth beacons provided automatic presence registration at control points and supported workplace safety.
As a result:
service tickets module: full ticket life cycle — registration, qualification, execution, closure; document circulation; permissions for employees and external companies
technical rounds module with offline support: checklists, parameter registration, alerts, execution dashboard and data quality analysis
industrial mobile devices with the AMAGE mobile application, Bluetooth beacons and 2D markers for automatic localisation of control points
