Maintenance - Incineration plan, KHK Cracow

Scope of the project

The Thermal Waste Transformation Plant in Cracow (Eco-incineration plant) was built as a response to Cracow's ecological needs. The plant is located in the south-eastern part of the city of Cracow, in Nowa Huta, at Jerzego Giedroycia Street 23. The plant can process 220 thousand. tons of municipal waste.

In order to improve the flow of information in the plant, it was decided to use the AMAGE system to support maintenance teams

Challanges and issues

  • Implementation of service work in a way that facilitates the operation of all plant employees
  • Integration of data from F-K and warehouse systems in the area of costs of handling service requests
  • Technical celebrations of key technological lines with a specific execution schedule
  • Integration of data from the annual celebrations in the system with full access to the work and data
  • Orderly structure of devices with access to documentation
  • Operation of mobile devices in areas without access to the ICT network

Components

01
AMAGE Desktop
System management application. It enables the organization of structures and management of the operational area of the system.
02
AMAGE Web
The main application for working in the area of service requests, structure and rounds. Access to data in the form of a mobile (phones, tablets) and in the form of devices with larger screens (latpops, desktops).
03
AMAGE Fx
A mobile application that enables offline access to data, service work and round trips. Provides device data, quick identification using 2D codes or RFID tags.

Solutions

  • Import and development of the plant's device structure in the form of trees and an ordered internal structure of devices (e.g. electrical switchboards)
  • Development of walkways with advanced process data, record of checklists, measurements and additional control points equipped with RFID technology
  • Service requests with information flow, notification and calculation of all necessary reliability parameters (MTTR, MTBF)
  • Integrated control cards for devices subject to annual and incidental inspections. Integration of reports with photo documentation of the work carried out.
  • Configuration of devices to work offline with automatic synchronization of the work performed
  • Dashboards and information panels with information from the system for quick device diagnostics
  • E-mail notification of events in the system with automation of reaction and user support in making further decisions

Opinion

We decided to use the AMAGE system for maintenance in our plant. Since then, AMAGE has enabled us to digitize work that was once done in paper form. From the perspective of many years, I can say that it gives us many opportunities on many levels.
